LAB Marketing & Communications Senior Specialist (Events and Client Communities) - 9-month FTC

Who We Are

Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.

To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures-and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.

What You'll Do

You will work closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager, who leads the Events and Client Communities programme for Amsterdam and Brussels, while taking ownership of marketing initiatives for priority client portfolios in the Brussels market. Together, you will design and deliver a high-impact programme of client engagement activities that strengthen relationships with senior stakeholders and showcase the best of BCG.

This role is ideal for a hands-on marketer who combines strategic thinking with executional excellence, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys bringing ideas to life through high-quality in-person and hybrid experiences.

In this role, you will partner closely with Managing Directors & Partners (MDPs) to translate account priorities into targeted marketing and event strategies and take full ownership of their execution. You will lead the end-to-end delivery of client engagement initiatives - from concept development and stakeholder alignment to hands-on execution, including content coordination, speaker management, logistics, and on-site delivery.

You will build on the success of existing programmes while continuously refining event formats, ranging from high-level CxO roundtables to large-scale client convenings. Alongside this, you will ensure operational excellence across all touchpoints, working with internal teams and external vendors to deliver seamless, high-quality experiences.

With a strong understanding of the Brussels market landscape and its international and multilingual context, you will tailor experiences to diverse audiences across corporate and institutional clients.

You're good at

  • Curating compelling, high-impact experiences (in-person) that bring CxOs and emerging leaders together for meaningful networking and thought-provoking conversations
  • Using quantitative and qualitative insights to optimize formats and engagement to continuously improve performance and impact on client relationships
  • Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders to understand their objectives and translating them into targeted marketing and event programmes
  • Prioritising effectively by balancing strategic priorities with emerging opportunities in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
  • Translating commercial objectives and key topics into distinctive, client-relevant stories, campaigns, and experiences
  • Owning the end-to-end delivery of campaigns and client engagement initiatives (events)-from ideation and planning through to execution, optimisation, and reporting
  • Identifying opportunities to amplify major campaigns through events and cross-channel collaboration
  • Applying a test-and-learn mindset by piloting new formats and continuously improving existing ones
  • Ensuring high-quality execution with strong attention to detail and a good eye for design across content and channels (e.g. copy, visuals and digital)
  • Using client data, insights, and market trends to identify gaps and continuously improve audience engagement
  • Collaborating effectively with consulting teams and Marketing & Communications colleagues (e.g. Digital, PR, Data & Insights, Alumni, Internal Comms) across planning and execution
  • Quickly adopting and leveraging marketing tools and systems (e.g. CRM, email marketing, event platforms) to deliver efficient and scalable campaigns

What You'll Bring

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong eye for design and creating high-quality, client-ready materials
  • Proven ability to own and deliver complex marketing and event initiatives end-to-end, managing multiple priorities, stakeholders, and external partners simultaneously
  • Relevant experience in marketing and communications or related fields (five+ years), ideally within a fast-paced, international, and matrixed organisation, with exposure to client engagement and/or events
  • Comfortable leveraging tools and systems (e.g. CRM, email marketing platforms, social media tools, Excel) to plan, execute, and track campaigns effectively
  • A proactive, resourceful, and collaborative mindset, with a strong curiosity and a passion for translating ideas into compelling stories and experiences
  • Fluent in Dutch, with strong working proficiency in English; basic French required, with higher proficiency a plus

Please note this position is not restricted solely to the responsibilities listed above and that the job scope and responsibilities are subject to change.

Who You'll Work With

BCG's Marketing & Communications team drives the firm's reputation as a thought leader. We work to strengthen and protect BCG's brand, advance our business agenda, and partner with leaders to engage with our audiences through exciting experiences and multi-channel campaigns. This role sits within the LAB Marketing & Communications function reporting into the Marketing & Communications Manager for the Client Communities programme in Amsterdam and Brussels. Day-to-day you will work across the LAB and global team, plus partners, consultants and external partners.
